UVmap uomoChiara Amendola was born in Milan. Graduated in “Art and multimedial communication” at the Academy of Fine Arts Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, she specialized in Therapeutic Art in 2008.She has been working for a couple of years as coordinator of artistic activities in both disabilities and school support, focusing herself on the use of new technologies as digital photography, videoclips, computer graphic and games.At the present time she lives and works in Berlin, where she is mainly contributing to improve bilingual education.In kindergarten and schools she organizes and manages artistic activities aimed at language practice and critical usage of new technologies.She takes part in the ANE Arbeitskreis Neue Erziehung Editor where she deals with production and storage of multimedia materials. She is in touch with associations which promote the use and development of new media in education and childhood.Her main concern is artistic and theoric experimentation towards the analysis of new media impact around the concept of body, identity and web cultural participation in the digital era.
